Chia pudding with strawberries

It is time for something nutritious as I have been cheating lately.

TIME FOR SUPERFOOD… Chia seeds!

They are full of amazing things like omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, phosphorus, tryptophan and are great source of fiber and antioxidants.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 TBS chia seeds
  • 1 cup any nut milk (I used brazil nut milk)
  • 1 TBS agave nectar or maple or rice syrup
  • handful of strawberries (when not in season use frozen ones; or any fruit you like)

METHOD:

Place chia seeds and milk in medium size jar. Stir well and leave for next 10 minutes. Repeat stirring two times more and then place overnight in the fridge.

Remember to defrost strawberries if using such ones.

Transfer to dessert dish, top with favourite fruit and enjoy!
